Creating a Premium Extension for Schwarz & Budil

Following the successful redesign of the Schwarz & Budil brand, we continued our collaboration by creating a new premium line of specialty coffees, expanding the portfolio into the 100% Arabica segment. Our task was to develop a packaging design that would preserve the brand’s distinctive identity while elevating it into a more premium category, where consumers seek quality, origin, and a refined coffee experience.

The task

The new packaging system builds on the original brand design concept and evolves it into a more sophisticated and premium expression. The design combines a premium look, clean composition, a strong emphasis on coffee origin, and a clear visual hierarchy. The key objective was to create a premium extension of the existing range, one that would be instantly recognisable as part of the Schwarz & Budil family while establishing its own distinctive character and elevated perception. The new design also creates a platform for potential future portfolio development and line extensions.
